CashBlasterPro (.com) review

The latest rave on the internet is about CashBlasterPro(.com) that claims to:

* upgrade the complete internet to Web2.0 standards
* give away 1 million dollar to free members
* offer a contract that guarantees you to get paid

My opinion:
I have seen this type of offers so many times that it doesn't impress me anymore, since most of them seem to be at least over-hyped, or often just plain scams. Here are some reasons to doubt their claims:

- Since they say they will have millions of members(and people are indeed joining like crazy), how big do you think your "share" of the 1 million dollar will be ?

- They don't even seem to have that money yet, since they plan to sell the company later. Something you can't count on that somebody will pay them that money. It is always popular to talk about the big money that companies like Microsoft or Yahoo spend.

- It's so top-secret, you just have to join without them telling you anything about what you are joining (besides the hype).

- The "contract" no doubt convinces a lot of people to join. But that type of online contracts doesn't mean anything. I have seen that before.

- "Revolutionize the complete internet". How many times I have seen that. Even if they have something useful to offer, it won't live up to their hype and it won't be free.

- Web2.0 is a popular word these days. Many people mistakenly associate it with "social networking", which is a very narrow-minded view of what Web2.0 is. Many so-called Web2.0 technologies have considerable security and privacy issues. But it always gets people excited when they use a word that almost nobody really understands.

To me, and that's just my opinion, this looks like another site that will gather a massive list of email addresses, before they start to explain that there are some problems, and finally disappear with a big mailing list to sell to spammers.

For all you that are joining, I hope I am wrong, but this opportunity is not for me.
