Free And Easy Ways To Advertise Your Business

Do you wake up every morning and find yourself struggling to promote your home business? Are you getting little or no results from all your advertising efforts? If this sounds like you let me land you a hand, and help you learn some free and easy ways to promote your business.

Not many people know how well free advertising really works. They hear the word free and the first thing that pops into their mind is cheap, and it wont work. Well that isnt really all that true. Ive made a good amount of profits with my business just by using completely free traffic. Sure some of it will be useless junk, but that doesnt mean its all going to be junk.

So where are the hot free advertising places, and how can you use them to your advantage? My number favorite free advertising method is simply placing a link in my signature on message boards. I spend about twenty minutes a day just talking on message boards. While I get a lot of great information I also respond to a lot of people, and every time I leave a reply message you can see my signature link. Believe it or not this really does work. You will be amazed how many people see your link.

Another good little trick I like to do is have my signature in my e-mails. This is a great method to use when you e-mail people. Leave a simple signature so every time you e-mail someone they have a link back to your website. What I do is I will reply back to those nasty spam and bulk e-mails. Why? Because it sends it to someone, and you never know what will happen.

One other technique I use to generate free traffic is traffic swarm. For the little time and effort I put into traffic swarm it pays off in a huge way. Traffic Swarm is easy to setup, and anyone can create an account in just a few short minutes.

Everyday all you have to do is surf traffic swarm for about twenty minutes and build up about one hundred credits and your good to go for the day. Out of those credits you will usually get a good ten or so visits to your site per day. Depending on what your ad says you might even get more.

These are some fun, easy, and free ways to draw traffic to any website you might own. Always remember free traffic is better then no traffic.

Improving Website Traffic - What Does It Really Mean?

In the world of online marketing, an enormous amount of attention is given to the subject of “improving” website traffic. This emphasis seems to be put in the right place, considering the central role traffic plays in any online marketing campaign. But despite the popularity of the subject, it would be difficult to find two Internet marketers that share the exact same idea of what it actually means to “improve” website traffic.

Every marketer has a solid feeling for what it means. But by failing to ask, in detail, what it actually means to improve traffic, too many online marketers miss out on the benefits that come form a deeper understanding of effective website-traffic improvement. Effective and lasting traffic improvement is made up of multiple layers. And by looking at what it means to “improve” website traffic at each layer, an overall view of traffic-improvement becomes much clearer.

At its most basic, “improving” website traffic means bringing more traffic to a site. At this level, it’s a question of numbers and not much more. Bringing more people to a website is an essential foundation of traffic-improvement; but even though it’s central to every online marketing campaign, it should not be seen as a final goal.

They are potential customers that are likely to respond to offers. And because of this, they improve traffic by improving its responsiveness. Ten highly-targeted leads are always more profitable than a hundred luke-warm leads.

At its highest level, improving website traffic means consistently reaching traffic at the right stage in the buying cycle. The buying cycle has three main stages: browsing, gathering information, and ready-to-purchase. In the browsing stage, people are looking to see what’s available. In the information-gathering stage, they are weighing the pros and cons of particular options. And in the ready-to-purchase stage, they have already decided what to buy and are looking for the best deal.

It’s important to draw traffic that is at the information-gathering stage because this is the stage where choices are being made. If traffic is reached earlier in the cycle at the browsing stage, it’s difficult to make enough of an impression for the site to be remembered later on. If traffic is reached later, at the ready-to-purchase stage, it’s too late – potential customers have already decided what to buy. Reaching traffic at the right stage in the buying stage is a very effective traffic-improving step that is often overlooked. Yet it has the potential to greatly increase the performance of a site.

By being aware of what it means to “improve” website traffic at each of the four levels mentioned above, serious online marketers will give themselves a clearer idea of what it really means to improve overall website traffic. They’ll be able to easily judge where they are in the traffic-improving process. And, more importantly, they’ll be able to see in which direction they should head to reach the next level. The long term effects can only be positive.

Five Traits of ALL Wealthy Internet Marketers

Do you know that there are 5 specific traits that
All wealthy Internet Marketers have?

That's right and if you were to interview a wealthy
Internet Marketer you would find how important
each of these traits have been to their success and
why some people who don't have these aren't as
successful as they could be. Let's go over each
one in detail.

1. Burning Desire - You have to have a burning
desire in your heart that no matter what happens
while you build it... you're going to succeed with
your online business. With out this you will fail
over and over again.

2. Specialized Knowledge - You have to have
special knowledge about your niche or field of
interest that sets you apart from your competition.

Ask yourself... "what do I know that most people
don't know?" then find out if people would pay for
that information. You might be surprised and find
out that many people will gladly pay for that
specialized knowledge.

3. Personal Discipline - Without this trait you will
fail as well. Unfortunately, most folks don't have
enough of this to make their business work.

You have to be willing to give up things you want
to do in your life now, so that some day you can
do more of the things you've always wanted.

Personal discipline starts when the sun is shining and
you know you need to work and instead you take
off for the lake. It's getting up everyday at a certain
time, working hard for x amount of hours ever
day... it's staying focused when you want to drift
off and do something else.

4. Decisive In Nature - Wealthy people select a
course of action quickly and are able to follow
their intuition till either a change needs to occur
or till the end.

The dictionary defines decisive as having the power
or quality of deciding. These people get the job
done and aren't afraid to make the hard decisions.
They also don't make a habit of changing directions
right after they have made that decision either.

5. Mastermind Groups - ALL Wealthy Internet
Marketers are a member of one or more mastermind
group. This allows them to bounce ideas off of other
successful marketers, or combine their talents to
generate more income for each other.

I believe this is one of the most over looked traits
that can either set a cap in your business (without it)
or take you from a 6 figure earner to a 7 figure
earner practically over night.

The key to mastermind groups is to find about 5-8
people that each complement each other's skills.
I.e. Copywriter, Web designer, Programmer,
Email marketer, Master list builder, Traffic
generating expert, etc.

Spend some time thinking about each of these and
make a decisive decision to develop each trait this
year. Then plan for your business to explode in
2008... guaranteed!

One of the many things I've learned in my years
of business online is that most businesses take
time.

We all want the successes today and most of us
give up when it doesn't happen for us right away.
The truth is... it usually takes 2-5 years for an
Internet business to really explode into something
we can be extremely proud of.

Let me also say... that when you do get to that
point where you can wake up and work whenever
you truly want to, life is much more enjoyable not
having to deal with the lack of finances.

The funny thing about that... is that once you get to
that point, instead of wanting to play all the time and
not work much... it turns into "how can I take better
care of my customers and improve my business". :o)
